The Wine Country Curling Club is a curling club in Northern California that was formed originally in Vacaville, CA in 2007. In 2012, WCCC moved to its current location at Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville, CA. We curl every Sunday in the mornings on 5 sheets of permanently marked (arena) ice [the best arena ice in the West Coast].
We have a nucleus of seasoned curlers that are committed to teaching the new curlers the game of curling. We are a social group consisting of approximately 100 members of all ages that enjoy the competition and exercise that curling provides.
WCCC is dedicated to promoting the sport of curling in Placer, El Dorado, Solano, Napa, Sonoma, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and neighboring counties. We actively pursue participation by providing various programs such as wheelchair, senior, and junior curling.
Wine Country Curling is run by volunteers and is supported by membership dues, donations, and fundraising events. We are an official 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
